With its flower petals fluttering in the breeze, sweetly scented Angel Wing Jasmine (Jasminum nitidum) is a super “filler plant” for bare garden spots and containers. It’s a shrub that likes to spread out, with a growth habit that mimics that of vines! But the alluring scent of Angel Wing Jasmine flowers is its main attraction. Angel Wing Jasmine is not a sparse plant. Its thick foliage quickly grows into a “filler plant” that easily reaches 10 feet tall (if supported). It responds well to pruning, so you can trim it to any size or shape if you want a more restrained and manicured appearance.

• Pinwheel flowers. In springtime, Angel Wing Jasmine flowers burst open from purple buds to reveal pure-white petals with purplish undersides! They typically open at night, and their bloom season is long ‘– from spring through summer.
